PVC Powder

PVC powder refers to Polyvinyl Chloride in its powdered form, a widely used thermoplastic polymer made from the polymerization of vinyl chloride monomers. It is one of the most versatile and cost-effective plastic materials, extensively used in both rigid and flexible applications.

Types:
1. Suspension PVC powder.
2. Emulsion PVC powder.
3. Co-polymer PVC powder.

PVC powder is typically white or off-white and is processed using techniques like extrusion, injection molding, or calendaring. It is known for its chemical resistance, flame retardancy, durability, and electrical insulation properties

There are two main types of PVC powder:
  • Rigid PVC (uPVC) – Used in pipes, profiles, doors, windows, and construction materials.
  • Flexible PVC – Made by adding plasticizers, and used in cables, flooring, synthetic leather, and medical products.

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC or Vinyl) is a high-strength thermoplastic material. It is widely used in applications such as pipes, medical devices, and wire & cable insulation…the list is endless. It is the world’s third-most widely produced synthetic plastic polymer.
